Along its almost 14 years, the Chilean Hass Avocado Committee has realized many actions in order to develop this fruit industry. It will take too long describing them, but there is not doubt that an important part of the success obtained by the industry in general and growers in particular, is due to the Committee existence and its extended labor.

Years have passed since it was created and for a long time growers wish to identify the fruit exported by the Committee members, and became a clamor to apply a hallmark to our sends.

It was not easy to take the decision, but supported by the pre and post harvest quality controls made by the Committee, this old wish finally become true.

Now we can proudly say that since the first week of November, each case exported to the USA and European markets, have the Committee Member Sticker in one of its sides. By one hand permits to identify the fruit exported by the Committee members from the fruit exported by others, situation easily recognizable by importers, and by the other hand, even doe our hallmark, it is not a guaranty stamp, the avocados sent under this identification, is perceived as a high standard quality fruit.

Therefore, establishing the Member Hallmark is another grate step done by the Committee.
